Alexandrakollantai, The Black Jacobin, Bertiewhittle

Two nice runs from our babies this week.Alexandrakollantai running on to be 6th,she will come on for the race and needs a longer distance,and a cracking run from The Black Jacobin to finish 3rd at 100/1 in what looked a decent race both look good prospects for the season.Bertiewhittle ran a bit flat and was a little disappointing but thats racing they are not machines we all have off days.

A big well done to Dave and his team bagging us our 2nd winner of the season.Also a confident ride by Hayley Turner,this is only our second runner with Dave after last years succsess with Flying Pickets he is 2 out of 2 for us (no pressure then with next !!)

Another great run of top weight,he appears to be still improving that looks like one of his best runs to date.We will sit down and think where to go next,maybe he will have to be steped up in class Bertie also ran a nice race just got chopped when making a challange on the inside.

Mistake

It was a mistake to run Sylvia Pankhurt too quick after her last race,it had taken more out of her than we thought,but she still ran a good race to finish 3rd.The jockey said she ran flat and the ground was tacky,but take nothing away from her shes gutsy and will have her day soon

SYLVIA PANKHURST

After a great start to the season with Colonel Mak winning,we kick of with our first 2y old Sylvia Pankhurst running 3rd at Ripon.We were a bit unlucky not to win it, she ran green and didnt get the clearest of runs ,but she looks like a future winner waiting to happen and should give us some fun through the summer.She looks like another bargin buy by us .

We may have got one of the bargain buys of the season judging by the money they were going for at Newmarket Breeze Ups,500k 360k180k etc.Take a look at our Sharmadal filly lovely stamp of a horse nice pedigree too in training with Stan Moore who likes her a lot

“STOP PRESS” MARY FILDES SOLD

We,have just sold Mart Fildes to run in the Californian sunshine. She as done us proud,giving us our first runner in a classic finishing 2nd in the UAE OAKS in Dubai,and gaining BLACK TYPE at 3 distances not bad for a 6k Euro purchase.We would like to thank Stan Moore and his staff for all their hard work especially Faye who looked after her in Dubai.We wish the new owners success in the future and hope they have as much fun with her as we did

What a result we knew he was well in himself,but what a scintillating performance by MAK and a great ride from Luke McNiff.After 3 lacklustre runs on the all weather he puts in a run to remember catching all of us by surprise-but what a pleasant one.following our success in Dubai Mak takes up the challenge and gives us a great start to the 2012 flat season,and what we hope will be the first of many

What a start to 2012

We have got of to a great start to 2012 with Mary Fildes running 2nd in the UAE OAKS in Dubai earning $60k in prize money,and giving the locals a scare in their own back yard.We have got some nice 2y olds for the coming flat season and looking forward to continue with our succesful start to the year,we may have a couple of early runners,seeing all the new babies in the next few days on the gallops.

Bertiewhittle wins again

Bertiewhittle notched up his second win this season with an easy win at Chester today by 2 and a half lengths, proving he is one to watch out for.
